The SFPE Board of Directors has approved two standards development projects. One will address methods for calculating fire exposures to building structures. The second standard will address predicting the thermal performance of fire resistive assemblies to a fire exposure.
These standards will be developed in accordance with SFPE’s standards development procedures, which meet ANSI’s criteria. Standards development committees have been formed to develop these standard; if you would like to serve on one or both of these committees, please download an application and send it to headquarters.
